the exciting part of my role was to connect the different elements in order to tell a story. the concept relied on the idea of a rotoscope animation, so we shot a reference video of two dancers, acting out the storyline which then was carefully joined together to make it seem as if it was one continuous shot.

at the time of making this animation, some of the construction projects were already standing while others only had the design materials. to stylistically match it with the hand-drawn animated characters, we decided to use the architects' pitching sketches as a design reference. so for tasha to be able to build the 2.5d models in after effects, i first had to accurately draw each side of the buildings. to complete this particular task,
i had a few meetings with developing london’s in-house architect who showed me how to understand
their 3d models in sketchup for reference.
